Hormonal Imbalances

Your hormones regulate so many functions in the body, not just in relation to when (or if) you get your period as well as those hot flushes.

They also dictate how fast your metabolism is, how hungry (or full) you feel, how sexy you feel, whether you will gain or lose weight, and they even let you know when it’s time to go to bed.

These hormones talk to each other continually, and they are potent – a ‘delicate dance’. Too much or too little can cause side effects throughout the body.

Your hormones can be disrupted by the toxins you absorb, stress, poor diet, lifestyle choices, and your weight.

Hormone imbalance can range from feeling slightly out of balance – where you might experience symptoms like low mood or weight gain and their impact felt to a lesser or greater extent – or they might be significant enough for a medical diagnosis
